Dovety: Turning Cleaning Demos into a Repeatable Creator Growth Engine

allymatic Customer Story | Dovety: Turning Cleaning Demos into a Repeatable Creator Growth Engine

At a glance

Dovety is a home-cleaning appliance brand serving the US market, best known for products such as electric spin scrubbers. Clear before-and-after demonstrations—from removing bathroom scale and cleaning grout to cutting through kitchen grease—make the brand a natural fit for TikTok creator content. As its creator partnerships and sampling program expanded, however, the team faced time-consuming creator selection, fragmented content directions, and inconsistent post-sample publishing. With allymatic, Dovety brought creator selection, sampling, content collection, and sales review into one workflow, turning occasional breakout videos into a growth method the team can repeat and scale.

Project overview

Demonstration-led products such as electric cleaning brushes have strong conversion potential on TikTok. A bathroom screen covered in limescale, darkened tile grout, or a bathtub that normally requires uncomfortable bending can all show a clear transformation in seconds.

Easy-to-understand content, however, does not automatically make creator collaboration easy to scale.

As Dovety increased its TikTok Shop creator investment, the team had to manage different creative angles, creator profiles, and sample stages at the same time. Some creators excelled at deep-cleaning bathrooms, others were better suited to kitchen degreasing, while others approached the product through labor-saving benefits, Mother's Day gifting, or accessibility for people with limited mobility. As partnership volume grew, information about shipped samples, unpublished content, and the scenarios that actually drove orders became scattered across chats and multiple spreadsheets.

After adopting allymatic, Dovety unified creator selection, product sampling, publishing follow-up, link collection, and sales outcomes in one workflow. The operations team could segment creators by cleaning scenario and content performance, then identify promising directions for additional collaboration faster.

Business challenges

1. The product is visually intuitive, but creator–scenario fit determines conversion

Dovety's electric cleaning brushes can be used on bathtubs, tile grout, kitchen stovetops, glass, floors, cars, and more. Even when creators promote the same product, the resulting content and performance can differ dramatically.

Some creators excel at high-impact before-and-after cleaning videos. Others are better at explaining the experience of using the product, while their audiences may care more about saving time, reducing effort, or avoiding repeated bending. Screening by follower count alone made it difficult to find creators who were genuinely suited to the product.

2. As sampling scaled, more partnerships were lost before publication

A creator agreeing to collaborate is only the first step. The team still needs to collect addresses, ship samples, track delivery, align on scripts, follow up on publishing, and collect content links.

Once the program reached hundreds of creators, manual records could no longer reliably track every stage. Some creators received products but did not publish as planned. In other cases, content went live but its link and sales performance were not captured in the central record in time.

3. Content volume increased, but winning patterns were hard to repeat

For a cleaning product, producing an occasional breakout video is not especially difficult. Explaining why it worked is much harder.

Previously, Dovety could see that a video generated orders, but the team could not quickly tell whether the decisive factor was the creator profile, cleaning scenario, opening hook, or product demonstration. Fragmented data made it difficult to turn one success into a method for the next round of creator selection and content planning.

Solution

1. Segment creators by cleaning scenario and content capability

allymatic helped Dovety classify creators by content type, audience profile, and historical performance—for example, bathroom deep cleaning, kitchen degreasing, home organization, car cleaning, labor-saving tools, and gift recommendations.

Instead of placing every home creator in one collaboration pool, the team matched different creator types to specific product benefits and marketing moments, improving the precision of both outreach and partnerships.

2. Bring sampling and content stages into one workflow

From creator confirmation and address collection to sample shipment, delivery, publishing follow-up, and link collection, every stage could be advanced inside allymatic.

Operators could quickly identify partnerships still waiting for sample confirmation, creators who had received a product but had not published, and content requiring a second follow-up. This reduced the time spent searching chat histories and backfilling spreadsheets.

3. Connect content performance with sales outcomes

allymatic brought creators, content, products, and sales results into one review view. The team could compare conversion performance across cleaning scenarios, video structures, and creator profiles.

When one content pattern performed well, Dovety could quickly find similar creators for a new round of partnerships and share the effective creative angle with more creators. Growth no longer depended on a breakout video appearing by chance.

Business results

Creator partnerships scaled while publishing efficiency improved

During the review period, Dovety's monthly active creator partners increased from 410 to 690, while monthly published content surpassed 2,000 pieces. At the same time, the post-sample publishing rate rose from 61% to 84%.

This meant that scaling the program did not create more waste in samples or creator resources. Instead, a greater share of shipped products became content capable of generating ongoing reach and sales.

The team shifted from promoting one product to operating multiple content scenarios

Previously, the team tended to view creator collaboration as a way to promote an electric cleaning brush. Once workflows and data were centralized, it began operating around distinct audience needs: bathroom limescale, kitchen grease, tile grout, car cleaning, and reducing bending or physical strain.

The same product gained more ways to reach different audiences while reducing the effects of repetitive content and viewer fatigue.

Breakout-video learnings began powering the next growth cycle

Dovety stopped looking only at which video had the most views and began reviewing which videos actually produced product clicks, orders, and durable sales.

By continually accumulating creator and content data, the team could identify high-potential creators, effective scenarios, and high-converting content structures faster. What had previously depended on individual judgment became a clearer, testable operating method.

Value summary

For a demonstration-led home-cleaning brand like Dovety, allymatic does more than improve creator outreach and sampling efficiency. Its greater value is connecting creators, cleaning scenarios, and sales results so that one content breakout can become a repeatable growth system.

Customer quote

“Our products are ideal for short-form video, but as our creator program expanded, the real challenge became finding the right people consistently and turning shipped products into effective content quickly. With allymatic, the team has a clearer view of every creator's partnership stage and can identify which cleaning scenarios and creative directions deserve further investment. We are not only working with more creators now; our overall operating rhythm and review process are much more consistent.”
